So google shows active players for UO Outlands over 100k. This is a huge accomplishment. It similar percentage of what official shard was doing when the game first came out and their was only Felucca. However, To take the larger leap to 1 million and more active players Origin Systems made the correct decision to create Trammel. It can be called "Care Bear Land" all you want, but the "facts" are UO went global and brought in way more players because of this.
I'm surprised Outlands has stayed stagnant by having just "Felucca" type land. The sanctuary dungeons are nice, but bulk players don't like pk's. Why do you think so many players keep coming back to Shelter Island and over crowding it? Why did you have to create sanctuary dungeons in the first place?
If you want to become an actual force mmo, Outlands will always be lacking until you create a large land like Trammel and then give bonus reward, loot, scrolls etc. to go into pk land. Same as Lost Lands with Champion spawns.
