Been reading the years of patch notes, and all the updates over those years, and I'm thinking of returning to play again. There has been some amazing work done. And the patch notes and the communication from the devs are top notch. Coming from some other MMOs I've played the last few years, I wish the devs these days took a page from this team. This is how devs used to communicate with players. Nice work.
Anyways, before I do return and start setting everything back up, years later, a few questions so I know what to read up on more before I return.
I have multiple toons on the 3 accounts but my main was a summoner in Eldritch aspect. I want to build a tamer, but I'll need to use this summoner to get back on my feet and get some cash first. I don't remember what I have for money, not much probably, as I was spending it all upgrading my aspects.
First of all, I don't even remember the Focus skill. This is was nowhere in my builds, but it looks like a very nice passive skill. That said, this is what I'm thinking my non-Inscription eldritch summoner will be when I come back:
120 SS
100 Magery
100 Eval Int
100 Medit
100 Focus
100 Taste ID
Here is my question, for the seventh skill, which I think is Tracking now... how would Poisoning work here? I don't intend to cast Lethal poison, but Deadly poison casts, with Taste ID already in there, and making use of the Poisoning Kit might be ok additional dps, instead of always casting Flamestrikes.
Would this work, or is it better to leave Tracking in for a flat 25% boost, plus the heads up on reds? Get Taste ID to 120 and lower Tracking to 80? Or leave TasteID at 100 and do Poisoning to a 100?
Also, how expensive is it to get poisoning to a 100, considering I don't have an alchemist alt? I did mention I want to build a tamer; if poisoning is a huge money drain, I'd probably be better off with Tracking, and saving the money for the tamer, right? Or would poisoning be so worth it, the cost would be offset by faster farming and more money for the tamer?
Thanks for your help. See you in the game soon!
Edit to add: Also, Storage Shelves sound amazing, never had one of those. Any point to having two of these in a rental room, or is it a one and done type of an item? Seems a pretty high limit on items inside it. How much are these going for? Where can I find one easily when I get back in?
