How Do I Participate?
- The event runs from Wednesday, October 1st at 11AM ET until Friday, October 31st at 11:59PM ET
- Mushroom Spores may drop from most gold-producing gameplay systems, including:
- Monster Loot
- Dungeon Chests
- Treasure Chests
- NPC Ship Holds
- MIBs
- Although the pestilence is widespread, the Mushroom Spores themselves are very rare drops
- Undermountain creatures appear to carry a heavier fungal infection, resulting in an increased drop rate of Mushroom Spores
- There is no [Eventscore for this event
Extra Information:
- Mushroom Spores are automatically placed into the player's backpack if found
- Mushroom Spores are not blessed or bound and can be stolen
- The mushrooms are not lightsources and do not glow
- Best admired, not devoured... these fungi are strictly for show as decorations
- This year there are 5 new species of mushrooms with a total of 20 new, individual mushrooms
- Mushroom Spores can be grown all year long, but will only drop as loot during the month of October

How Do You Grow the Mushroom Spores?
- Players can use the Plants System to grow the Mushroom Spores
- Each Mushroom type has their own Heat, Water and Soil levels
- Mushroom Spores from 2025 will grow into any of the 2025/2024 mushroom types
- Mushroom Spores from 2024 will grow into any of the 2024/2023 mushroom types
- Mushroom Spores from 2023 will grow into any of the 2023/2022 mushroom types
- Mushroom Spores from 2022 will only grow into the original 10 mushroom types
