Hi,
I recently started playing Strangelands (it's A-M-A-Z-I-N-G), and one of my guildmates mentioned that in the past there was a lot more PvP than now.
It seems that people win Strangelands by mostly ignoring PvP and focusing their efforts on farming. Winners usually have 0-2 kills per match.
The suggestion I have is to transfer some percent (10%? 20%? 30%?) of the victim's score to the killer on kill.
Since no points are "generated" (only transferred), it prevents most kinds of abuse (e.g., res killing).
The only possible abuse would be to group up and then "transfer" all points to a single person closer to the end of the match, so that person becomes the winner.
But I don't think this is a problem, since it does not seem like a lucrative way to spend time for everyone else in the group but that person.
Anyway, to prevent this kind of abuse, you could limit this "transfer" to once per match between each pair of players.
What do you think?
