Inscription is a crafting skill that doubles up with some synergies for being a summoner - however it's also a bit of a trap in that you then need to constantly craft scrolls to cast off of for the damage bonus. I personally run it, many summoners do - there's a chance not to consume your scrolls, so it's a lighter load out when farming, but also costs quite a bit to build..
I'm currently running 100 mage, med, eval, wrestle 80 spirit, resist, tracking, camping - but i like to PvP and turn on PK's, and respond to call outs - I'm also 10 links into a mastery chain, and T13 void/eldritch aspect, maxed out tome/grimoire which affords some luxuries. Also note, I used to be 120 scribe, and I absolutely hate not having 10 min blesses, and am debating dropping tracking for 80 scribe, just for the blesses (even though I'll lose hamstring)
I used to run 120 Scribe, Taste 100 Mage, Med, Eval, SS 80 Camping.
and have changed several times in two years to add just wrestle in to deal with PK's, or have tracking over camping.. I always found I had to leave dungeons too quick without camping though - which isn't bad as a new player not established yet.
I'd Recommend:
- 120 Taste / Spirit Speak
- 100 Mage, Med, Eval, Tracking
- 80 Camping
Optionals: (don't be afraid to swap some of these out for the orange in the recommended)
Damage/Utility: (all +25% dmg at 100)
- Forensics (+leather)
- Scribe (+buff time, reduced scroll usage)
- Tracking (+passive PK tracking, +hamstring if paired with wrestling)
- Camping (+backpack size)
Defense:
- Wrestling (+10% spell charge)
- Resist (+magic absorb send back to mobs)
