14 shadowhide per bustier, need to make 33 bustiers 462 shadowhide total
Each shadowhide piece is worth (right now) 14 gold 14 x 462= 6468 gold is what you'd get if you just sold the shadowhide itself
you get 12 points for doing the job, so 12x 4000 (each point is worth 4K gold) = 48000 gold - 6468= 41532 gold
The only thing is I need to know is how do you find out how much per point it is? If it is more than the 4K per point, you're basically throwing money away, let's use the shadowhide job example, it's 41532 PROFIT, not total, when do you know whether it's better to SELL the raw shadowhide or do the job?
Right now I have three 100 tailors. One of them also has 120 inscription and 100 tinkering. I'm told it's takes a long time to earn back your money if will mine metal or chop wood to get any of the other crafting skills to 100 like carpentry, tinkering or blacksmithing. That you are better off selling the metal or wood, rather than using it to GM those skills.
With some skills I can't gather the ingredients for them, such as inscription jobs that require arcane scrolls, which you can only get off of monster corpses. I can, however always loot regs off of daemons, and skin them. I'm told I can buy them in bulk through my guild hall (who/what sells them in the guild hall, is there an NPC you can get for that- I'm confused)
