Hi all !!!

I'm new in this server , and i need help for 2 templates ( pvm/pvp )...

1) For pvm i always played tamer/necro/mage or tamer/archer ... so in this server i wanna try to play tamer archer. This is my build :

Taming 105
Lore 105
vet 80

Archery 110
tactics 90
healing 90
anatomy 90

magery 65

i don't know how pet take for this template ...

2) For pvp stealth archer is viable?

tnx alot

Not sure there are great melee dmg pets at 105. It's the big Arborial wisp/Eldritch Drake combo stopping point but that's a mage setup. I believe you want something that benifits from hinder. Skili dragon at 100 taming would be great as it debuffs armor. Maybe swamp drake/Wyvern would be cool for poison.

Couple more points: you can't go above 100 in any weaponskills and you wil want to get 80 Arms lore for the disarm ability. Take that over anatomy and use cure pots to deal with poison. Even with anatomy it rough dealing with poison via bandages so anatomy is really only for extra PvP dmg here. There are better choices all around for PvE such as tracking, camping etc.

Stealth archers can gank if you are really patient and wait for people with low health but without a second source of damage you won't really be soloing anyone. The issue is tamers and summoners won't be taking much damage themselves and melee folks will have high armor and parry. So either case it will be hard to take someone down solo. You will wait forever for a squishy to get below 50% and then you have to hope to roll a top end heavy xbow hit.

They are great in stealth gank groups if you have a team. They are really good PvM templates though with shadow aspect.

Exp pots don't heatseek here but you would get longer pot buff duration, 25% more healing from heal pots, and a 50% chance to be able to push through anything for 10 seconds with total refresh. I know Mastershake is a red that run this type of template and PKs with it (he's not really killing hard targets) so yes it's viable. If you get a lucky streak of bow shots with 120 dex from long pot buffs you can get kills. On my alchemist I sort of suicide bomb with exp pots on people that are running. Just let it hit both of us in my pack.

Disarm is really good for PvM:

https://uooutlands.com/wiki/Disarm

Disarmed Creatures
  • A disarmed creature takes 25% additional damage from all sources for 10 seconds
  • A disarmed creature has a 25% penalty to melee defense from all sources for 10 seconds
What's not mentioned above is the damage is multiplicative. Most extra damage sources add to your total % dmg but disarm will multiply your total damage by 1.25 and it will work for your pets as well. Also lowers the defense of mobs so things melt for 10 seconds when they are disarmed. You can do it every 30 seconds. 80 Arms lore will also almost double your chances of hindering with archery attacks in PvM with is another 50% dmg increase for a while and if you proc hinder again it gives yet another 50% dmg to that hit.

Maybe try a build like:

105 Taming
105 Lore
100 Archery
80 Tactics
80 Vet
70 Magery
80 Amrs Lore
80 Tracking

Use magery and pots to heal youself while you bandage pets. 80 Tracking will give a high chance to track reds and get away as well as 20% more bow dmg in PvE (8% in pvp)

Skill balls are expensive but could do trackign for 100% tracking chance of reds and 5% more dmg, Tactics for 20% more dmg. Magery for bigger heals, and other magery qol like invis. I'd imagine maxing tactics would be best though. You can't take Archery over 100.

umm in this server there aren't items with lrc ? XD

Don't know what LRC is, havn't played UO since 2000 on OSI. If it's "lower reagent cost" then nope. No weird magic mods on gear or anything other than standard accuracy/dmg/durability stuff. Some tweaks for instruments and spell-books and the aspect gear system is also a unique exception. Between spellbooks and aspect gear you can get free spell casts where the mana is free but it still costs regs.

Need to amend a comment I made above. I just learned that the dex bonus for weaponspeed is capped at 100. So agility pots won't give you 120 dex for attack speed purposes. I haven't tested this, it's just what I'm being told.
