Personalized Society Jobs(PerSoc Jobs)

I've been pondering on this idea a bit and though I can't speak for many out there I think it's innovative at least.

In the past I have noticed complaints about the number and types of Society Jobs available based on whether someone is of certain skill to do them. Many of the Society

Jobs, especially Artificer with Scribes, are geared to higher ranking individuals but most of those issues have been met or at least dealt with in a passable manner. I

myself am fairly new to Soc Jobs, i don't do many and the ones I do are always lower types, not because of my skill but because of the necessary invested of gold to

acquire many of the materials to complete them. So a few days back I started thinking of something that might be worth adding to some types of Society Jobs, I believe

Monster Hunter would be especially benefitted by it. After acquiring so many Society points either in a single category or just overall earned points, I didn't know which

would be the better choice, make something in the Soc Jobs Menu to allow people to set what they would like to do to earn the points, a basic customizable menu for

Jobs. For example, say the max point you could earn at one time for any single job was ten, I do not know what the limit actually is or if there is one, so in the menu for

Monster Hunter you select ten points, you select the monster you want, say a Primordial Whelp, lol, and you pick that out of the menu, the system then calculates how

many of that particular monster you would need to kill to earn the ten points. In this particular case probably a thousand or more, lol. The point being if there were an

ability to access a custom menu and someone was doing Artificer points bur didn't wish to scribe out Flamestrike Scrolls, because of the necessary use of Arcane Scrolls,

so they want to make Magic Arrow, this would also likely serve to decrease the current pricing on Arcane Scrolls as well. Well if you could make ten Flamestrike Scrolls

and get ten points then you should have to make 500 Magic Arrow ones, or something like that probably alot more than 500. Anyways that's the basics of the idea, I

think it could be wrangled around so it couldn't be abused in some way because certainly a large percentage of those who read this will immediately begin scheming

ways to do so, DON'T do it you can't out code Luthius!, and it would be something to hand off to those who don't wish to do the run of the mill normal soc jobs too. Just

a thought.

I believe the 'idea' behind societies is to spread out the player base or get the player base out to areas that are off the beaten path. Or, for crafting societies, consume some resources that might otherwise just pile up because no one uses XXXX.

Additionally, I don't like the idea of making societies points 'easier' to accumulate. Having the option to select what I want to do for societies is making things easier for me as I'll do a society I have an abundance of supplies for or I'll do a society for mobs that are in areas I common. It's a neat idea, but there are already a nice mix of easy/hard jobs and aside from making society points easier to accumulate I don't see what this change will accomplish.

Also you specifically point out artificer scribe jobs. It doesn't really matter how you consume your plant chemicals/arcane scrolls since the products are all destroyed anyways, right?
 
I love the idea of customizing Society Jobs. It could really change the game and make things more interesting for everyone. Imagine picking tasks based on what you enjoy or what materials you have—sounds fun.
BTW, I recently learned about becoming an ultrasound technician. It’s a pretty cool career where you get to use high-tech equipment to help people. School costs vary, but it’s amazing to see what you can do beyond just pregnancy scans.
