Please allow Prevalia Item/Blessed/Restyled Plate Helm options!

Please allow Prevalia Item/Blessed/Restlyed Plate Helm options. Currently you can do this with leather only.

To be clear. I am not asking for any change to the way damage with plate works. I am only asking for this as it would allow Dexers the same opportunity as mages to customize their character.

The only reason I have been given as to why this doesn't happen is that mages need an indicator that their target may be a high armor target, thus susceptible to increased Mindblast damage. Why do we need this indicator?

Do you need an indicator to find out if someone has magic reflection activated?
Do you need an indicator to find out if someone has the resisting spells skill?
Do you need an indicator to find out if someone is out of cure potions?
Do you need an indicator to find out if someone is out of trapped pouches?
Do you need an indicator to find out if someone is an easy target?
Do you need an indicator to find out if someone is a tough target?
Do you need an indicator to find out if you can kill someone?

Furthermore.... a large portion of dexers wear the leather cap restyle deed/prev leather helmet anyway. So isn't the indicator not much of an indicator anyway?

Why do dexers need to take a hit on their AR if they want to customize their wardrobe?

Honestly, I think all blessed head items should be 5 AR, and then by all means I agree wholeheartedly with the suggestion.. I've never agreed that an invuln leather cap at 7 AR, or an avarite leather cap at 6 AR, should be able to be blessed, at higher than the aesthetic items, and I definitely don't want to see blessed helm AR going even higher, especially when you consider blacksmithy bonuses and the sort.

As a dexxer, you can wear a restyled leather cap, to get your blessed item - so there's no need to have the plate be bless-able - that's the stance devs seem to have taken here. But again, I personally think anything that gets blessed should revert to the 5 AR of aesthetic bought gear, then you could make plate restyles.

Why is this?

The only thing I can think of is the reduced resource consumption when crafting and using armor. Is there something else I am missing? (I could very easily be missing something here)

Let me make a giant assumption and assume half the server is mages or a non-AR class and the other half is dexers.... I don't know if this is even remotely close, but let's just assume it is. Half the server, once they've purchased a blessed leather helm/restyle deed, literally never has to worry about replacing their head slot item and gets to run around in fully customizable max meddable armor. Thus, leather consumption is reduced by what, 10%?

No one is concerned about the reduced resource consumption lost by the leather helm being blessed. I get it that two wrongs don't make a right, but I just can't find a reason why dexers have to take a cut in AR to run around with a blessed, fully customizable head slot item. What harm would introducing a blessed high AR head slot item do? Is there something I am not seeing here?

I am concerned.. - I personally don't think the highest AR armor for mages or dexxers should be bless-able.. I don't think any armor should be bless-able to be honest, and if you are going to run around with a blessed armor piece, then it should be a choice of never having to restock it, or getting the AR advantage and having to restock it. I could go both ways - I could say what's good for mages, should be good for dexxers bless it all - but that's not the UO I want to play, I'd rather see all blessed slot pieces get a standard AR... As it is now, you can get head, neck & glove slots all blessed, it's really reducing the armor people are risking.. The only difference is you can't max the neck & glove slots with restyles like you can leather caps..

I don't think it's right to keep it as is - it's not equitable, and should either dial leather blesses back, so it's standard, or push bless forward to plate, so it's equitable.
