The Bridge that the Prevalia Council refused to build until now!

Would you approve of this bridge to be built, if the council also approves?

Dear citizens of Prevalia and all residents of Avadon, for a while now there is this issue that is bugging my head. There are two bridges from the moongate island, one connects it to the western part of the city, the other connects it to the city guards' patrol route, there should be a third bridge which connects the island to the southern exit of the western Prevalia. The two pieces of land are very close to each other, yet are seperated by the river.

I have contacted with the council before, to build a bridge there but they ignored it. Now I am coming with a new offer, if the city is not willing to pay for the bridge to be built, I can pay for it myself and with the humble donations of the others. I am asking for a price/resources for this bridge to be built from the Prevalian council with this message.

The bridge would be built on the location shown: (The bridge will connect the moongate island to a non-profit, roleplaying tavern/rune library.)

I wonder about the story of the guy who left his clothes there to take a swim and was never been seen again..

Was he a customer of your fine establishment and drowned when he tried to go sleep at the citys inn because there was no bridge?

What type of bridge shall be built? The seafarers of the region who use this river to ferry good to and from the greater waters would 100% not appreciate this being blocked. I vote no!

I think the answer is: Yes. Mr. Owyn - Build That Bridge!

And yes, a tall bridge would be nice. Maybe even (first in Outlands) a bridge with two levels - one for the commoners (with some rat spawns and all that jazz) and a higher road for the noble folks.

+1 for event to gather resources to build it

I'm not a roleplayer, but I like it that they are around and feel like they deserve support. The bridge seems like a small thing to ask for and I hope it happens.

He started his job as a bouncer, I gave him his new work uniforms and he ditched his old stuff there I guess.

*Psst, you didn't hear it from me but, what can you do, orcs...*

You might have to put in a petition with Prevalian Officials for said bridge first and then "have it signed in triplicate, sent in, sent back, lost, found again, subjected to public inquiry, and finally buried in soft peat for three months and recycled as firelighter." What was this about ANOTHER bridge too though? This is why we can't have nice things!

We cant have nice things solely because the Prevalian Empire is too busy funding the armies to fight against the "enemies". Citizens needs bridges! We have damn volunteers protecting us, I have never seen a city guard or a soldier defending our city!

The taxes that merchants pay on their vendors should be sufficient to cover the cost of said bridge and also an increase on the bounty for the heads of thieves and murderers.
