So i made some tests and is quiet easily to farm elders again on blood aspect, but i needed to switch back from swords to macing and using a 1 handed medium weapon to make it possible. With 2 handed you will suffer alot, because you can't drink pots if the wep is not unequipped and you miss alot of dps. With this huge stats you don't need to drink hp pots much often if ever, but it should work with lyrics aswell. 
So its still possible! Just do not go fenching or swords! It sucks, but i will miss my double axe now.
