Brothers and sisters of the Pathfinders, guardians of Avadon, gather close, for today we honor the past, celebrate the present, and forge a path into the future.
It was the year 612, so long ago...
amidst the wild and untamed lands of Avadon, that a small yet determined band of adventurers, dreamers and visionaries, came together under one purpose
to carve out a Haven of safety, community, and prosperity...
It was the first of the Pathfinders, their steps certain, but resolute.
On that fateful day, where the forest meets the desert, they found a magical spring, what we now call the Sacred Waters
The first house was built with their own hands, a small but humble structure, mighty in spirit,
the first of many, the start of a home that we now call Haven
From 612 to 625, the early Pathfinders, toiled with unyielding perseverance.
Collecting and selling feathers, of harpies that roamed the lands
With each plume sold, they gathered the gold, to lay the foundation of Haven
Through their sweat and sacrifice, Haven transformed from a fledgling outpost
into a thriving village, a beacon of hope in a perilous world.
But their mission did not end with Haven. Our mission.
We Pathfinders know that Avadon’s beauty, cannot flourish while danger lurks at its edges
Thus were born the Rangers and Peacekeepers, their mission to protect the land, to let it flourish
To bring hope to the people
They carry our name into the wilds, they stand against those who sow chaos, with vigilance and honor, they make the land safer for all who dare to dream a better life
Now, we stand here today, within this magnificent new Guild House, a testament to courage, to our unity, to the enduring spirit of the Pathfinders
Our house is more than stone and timber, it is a symbol of all we have built together
And so, my friends, today we raise our banners not just to celebrate what has been achieved
but to declare our unyielding commitment to Avadon and its people
We pledge to continue the fight for safety, to nurture prosperity, to guide others on the path of hope.
Let this day mark the dawn of a new era for the Pathfinders, let the winds carry our banners high, and let all who see them know that Avadon
is not merely a land, it is a promise, A promise we will keep.
Together, we are the Pathfinders, and together, we will forge the way.
